The Reaching Out For Kids Golf Program teaches golf and character education to kids ages 3 to 17.  Participants will learn the fundamentals of golf, from gripping the club and hitting the ball, to chipping, putting, rules of the game, safety, and golf etiquette.  Also included will be tips on participating in tournaments, playing on junior high, high school and college level teams.

Participants learn valuable lessons such as:

• The importance of maintaining a positive attitude

• Making decisions by considering the consequences

• Setting goals

• How to transfer values such as integrity, responsibility, honesty, respect, confidence, and sportsmanship from the golf course to everyday life

Equipment is provided for the participants to use.
